Aston Villa put on a five star show to demolish Leicester

Leicester City lost 5-0 against a clinical and dynamic Aston Villa side in Sunday afternoon's Barclays Women's Super League fixture at Villa Park.

Three goals were scored in the first-half, two in the second as Aston Villa brushed aside the visitors.
Securing Aston Villa's fourth win in four games, leaves the Villans 5th in the table with the Foxes trailing 22 points behind at the foot of the table.
Before kick-off both teams observed a minutes silence for the passing of Leicester City goalkeeper Demi Lambourne's father.
Both teams started off strong and had equal opportunities at either end.
Two minutes in, Leicester gave the ball away in the middle of the park which allowed Rachel Daly to run away and take a shot into the side netting.
A minute later, Sophie Howard was found unmarked at the back of the Aston Villa penalty area from a corner, but her header glanced wide of the post.
In the 5th minute, Sam Tierney's shot was cleared off the line by Hannah Hampton before Aileen Whelan put the ball in the back of the Villa net, but her goal was ruled out for offside.
Less than a minute later, Kenza Dali broke the deadlock after smashing the ball from the edge of the box and into the bottom corner of Janina Leitzig's net. Scoring her seventh goal of the season in all competitions.
In the 35th minute, Alisha Lehmann doubled the Villans' lead, Hanson crossed the ball to Lehmann in the box and the Swiss forward clipped the ball into the net.
On the brink of half-time, Rachel Daly added a third goal after Sophie Howard got caught in possession.
Ten minutes into the second-half, Rachel Daly fired home a fourth goal, the pass from Alisha Lehman behind the Leicester defence found the number 8 in the centre of the box who passed the ball beyond the Leicester 'keeper.
Aston Villa made a double substitution in the 60th minute as 20 year-old midfielder Freya Gregory replaced midfielder Lucy Staniforth and 19 year-old Laura Blindkilde Brown replaced forward Kirsty Hanson.
Less than ten minutes later Leicester made four substitutions, Australian forward Remy Siemsen replaced defender Sam Tierney, defender Georgia Eaton-Collins on for CJ Bott, defender Jemma Purfield replaced Ashleigh Plumptre and midfielder Molly Pike came on for Josie Green.
In the 71st minute, Alisha Lehmann scored Villa's fifth and final goal of the match. Daly threaded the ball through to Pacheco and crossed it into Lehmann as she received the ball in the box and slotted it past Leitzig.
Four minutes later, another change for Leicester as forward Missy Goodwin replaced Hannah Cain.
In the 85th minute, Aston Villa made a further substitution as goalscorer Kenza Dali was replaced by 17 year-old Georgia Mullett.
Five minutes later, Lehmann was replaced by Alice Keitley making her senior debut.
Aston Villa didn't stop pushing for more goals, a header from Georgia Mullett was just about saved by Leitzig as she tipped it out for a corner.
The game finished 5-0, chances fell for both sides, but Villa were the more clinical team.
City have now lost 13 games and have a goal difference of -31, which is currently the worst in the league.
