Leicester will be hoping to push themselves further from bottom-place Reading to almost secure WSL survival. A win against West Ham could leave City in 9th place on 16 points, if Brighton lose to Everton and Tottenham draw their game with Reading.
West Ham will be looking to take all three points to put pressure on 7th place Liverpool. A win would leave The Hammers two points off The Reds.
Leicester were thrashed 6-0 by Chelsea in their last WSL outing. Paul Konchesky's side lost 4-0 against Chelsea in their WSL game on Wednesday evening.
Manager Willie Kirk said there were no new injuries in his squad. Ashleigh Plumptre was left out of The Foxes' game against Chelsea last week, but he explained this was a pre-cautionary measure.
West Ham haven't won a WSL game since the start of 2023. Their last win was against Tottenham in December. Leicester City Women's Head Coach, Willie Kirk, expressed the importance of focusing on their own performance.
"By their own admission they’ve had a poor second half to the season, but it might be the West Ham of the first half of the season that turn up.
"We’re trying to combine the Reading and Liverpool performances, we ticked every box across those two."
Kirk continued, "After 22 games, if we’re safe, that’s all that matters to me. If we can confirm our WSL status in front of our fans, with three straight wins at home, that would be fantastic."
Sunday's game is available to watch live on the FA Player with coverage starting just before 15:00pm kick-off.
